Based in Richmond, VA, Lori Whitmore is the visionary behind Savory Blends Tea Co.-an artisan loose-leaf tea brand known for crafting blends that transform everyday moments into intentional experiences. What began as a personal passion for tea has evolved into a purpose-driven business rooted in wellness, and elevated hospitality.

Lori’s journey into tea started with a deep curiosity for flavor, global influences, and the healing power of herbs. That curiosity took on new meaning after reading an article in Essence magazine about entrepreneurship- an inspiring moment that sparked the idea to turn her love of tea into something more. What began as blending teas for personal enjoyment soon grew into a calling.

Today, Lori creates handcrafted blends designed not only to taste exceptional, but to support how people want to feel: relaxed, restored, and connected. She is known for curating immersive tea experiences through custom blends, tea tastings, bulk gifting, tea blending workshops, themed tea parties, and tea catering- always adding her signature tea party twist to create moments that feel both elevated and unforgettable.

Whether she’s hosting an intimate gathering or a large-scale activation, Lori invites guests to slow down, engage their senses, and experience tea as both ritual and connection.
